Ep. 6  🗝 Unlock the Power of Light Therapy with Dr. Len Saputo

Dr. Len Saputo is a grandfather of the clinical use of low-level laser therapy (LLLT), with over twenty years of experience using different lightwave lengths to treat different disease states. Throughout the world, LLLT has been used, with thousands of articles written on the subject. Working with Maurice Bales, Dr. Saputo used thermal image color changes (before and after LLLT) to document corresponding clinical improvement. He recommends it is used in conjunction with LLLT, to guide treatment by the visualization of improvement.

There are many terms that mean the same thing: low-level laser therapy (LLLT), photobiomodulation (PBM), light therapy, infrared light therapy, photonic stimulation (PS), photodynamic therapy (PDT), and LED therapy.

Mechanism. Why does light heal? We know that it grows plants and allows us to function. LLLT uses infrared (80 nm), red and blue-spectrum light, not sunlight, gamma, x-ray, or other wavelengths. Current machines are “multispectral”, producing a variety of wavelengths, using different wavelengths for different tissues. For example, the blue light emitted into the mouth turns “alive” teeth white; this is used by dentists.

The physics of light is such that one wavelength affects the heart or the eye, whereas another will not.

Other uses of LLLT include blue, red, and infrared light invented by Dr. Maurice Bales, whose machine covers the visible and infrared spectrums, as well as modulates wavelengths to get rid of pathogens. Some emitter wands emit 8 spectrums, such as the Bales BioPhoton Wand, which emits 3 different infrared, 3 red, and 2 blue wavelengths.

Through body heat, the body converts blue light into red light.

Emitting light is one function of tissue effects, as is light penetration. Blue wavelength (400-500 nm) differs from red wavelength (600 nm) and is highly absorbed by red blood cells, whereas 1000 nm is highly absorbed by water.

Beneficial Effects of PBM:

  • Increased blood flow through increased nitric oxide

  • Stimulates mesenchymal stem cells with Alzheimer’s - removes tangles and plaques

  • Increases energy through ATP production up to 75%, optimizing cell function including the brain

  • Decreases inflammation, swelling

  • Increases collagen

  • Kills microbes (SARS-CoV-2, MRSA)

  • Cancer

  • Boosts immunity

Clinical Results that Benefit from PBM

  • Failed Back Syndrome, Sciatica

  • Headaches

  • Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RDS) or Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS)

  • Rheumatoid arthritis

  • Postoperative pain

  • Diabetic Neuropathy

  • Neurodegenerative disease: Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Traumatic Brain Injury, stroke, anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Syndrome (PTSD)

Fiberoptic and older light therapy machines, even at lower doses, work. But Dr. Saputo says newer machines work even better.

  • Traumatic brain injury (TBI)

  • Stroke

  • Macular degeneration

  • Multiple sclerosis

  • Pneumonia in elders

  • Heart disease

Open heart/bypass surgery: Dr. Saputo put the light on his chest pre and post-surgery, showing that cardiac troponin enzymes do not rise during his bypass operation.

News from The Dr's Corner

This is a time of opportunity!

The heart of Health Matters SHINE, The Dr’s Corner has always been to equip You with the knowledge and the preparation for the times we are living in.

For Sherri and myself, our desire is to serve You the way best possible.  It is our pursuit and our passion.

Friends, we have been sowing seeds; seeds that must be watered and cared for.  Sherri and I give our time and energy to serve You and the community because it is our passion and intent.

Today, we stand at this time and we trust GOD and the Vision He has given us.

Currently, there are no funds available to continue.

Humanly speaking, we don’t see a way but we Know if GOD wants The Dr’s Corner to continue, HE will provide.

We also want to acknowledge those who have already sent generous donations.

We want to continue but Dr. Aranda and I are not in the position to do this without sponsors or support.  Just the bare minimum to keep the platform up and running we are looking at $400.00 monthly -  expenses for Dr. Aranda & myself we are looking today at $1,500.  This is what we get to raise.

We know the funds are out there, and we want You to think and pray if this is something You would like to be a part of.

We are starting the hashtag #donateandshine to represent the need for you to help us bring forward our message of hope and change. Through Sherri Belmar’s nonprofit, your donation is tax-deductible. And please know…

Now is the most significant to take action!

Support our mission! Health Matter - SHINE advocates for truth being shared by doctors and subject matter experts that are being censored and oppressed.

We are a platform that amplifies the message that the main media seeks to silence.

We utilize online summits and a variety of online publications to do what needs to be done. Your tax-deductible donation will be used for administrative costs and amplifying Our Voice that echoes Your Voice.

There is no show next Wednesday, but The Dr’s CORNER returns on September 7, 2022.   We are opening up this opportunity so that together we can continue with The Dr’s Corner Program.

We are not having a Show next Wednesday, as it is the last week of the month.

JOIN US on Wednesday, September 7, 2022

at 12:30 PST for heroine Meryl Nass, MD

Dr. Nass is on the Board of Directors of the Alliance for Human Research Protection. As an internal medicine physician and activist, she has expertise in anthrax and bioterrorism.

Her medical interest is in providing amelioration, prevention, investigation, and safe and effective medical response. She has treated patients with Gulf War syndrome and adverse effects after the anthrax vaccine. Dr. Nass has raised cogent critiques about the deficient response to medical ethics, the Ebola outbreak, unfounded panic about a “measles epidemic”, global vaccine safety issues, and corruption in the medical industrial military complex.

… And of course, she stood up for the patient: physician relationship and has spoken Truth in the Age of COVID.
